Located around a 5-minute ride from the 5th - century Church of Saint Sophia in the Nesebar New Town district, the 3-star smoke-free Kamenec Hotel Nesebar proudly offers an archaeological museum. During my recent stay at Kamenec, I found it to be a suitable spot for some much-needed relaxation. Nestled conveniently close to the sea, the location is a major plus-just a five-minute stroll to the beach. The hotel boasts three spacious swimming pools, which, while not overly luxurious, offer clean water that's refreshing enough for a casual dip. I took advantage of one of the outdoor pools and appreciated the tranquil settings as I lounged. It's equipped with comfortable sunbeds, but I wished the area stayed open a bit later than 6 PM to fully soak up the sun. The all-inclusive dining option was adequate, featuring fresh ingredients that made for enjoyable meals. Be mindful that food is confined to the dining areas-quite a strict policy, especially since I love leisurely snacking! The friendly reception staff made the stay easier, even though some communication barriers existed. For those seeking an escape, Kamenec's tranquil environment and proximity to the beach and Old Town Nesebar make it a worthy contender.
